3-      Director of the Center for Comparative Legal Studies, Mansoura    University,  1997-99.

4-      Vice-Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, Faculty of Law, Mansoura University, 2001-2004.

5-      Vice-Dean for Community Service and Environmental Affairs, Benha Faculty of Law,2004-2006.

6-      Participated in curricular developments in a number of American law schools and Arab and Egyptian faculties of law.

7-      Visiting Professor at a number of American universities.

8-      Member in a number of university evaluation committees in various countries.

9-      Participated in many international , regional and local conferences and seminars on various legal, political, economic and other issues.

10-  Selected to be a member of the U.S. Presidential Committee on U.S.-Islamic Relations, 1980-81.
